Family house SOLAR Barrandov, Prague
2014
Project of a family house in Prague - Barrandov was composed as a Bachelors thesis. The house is designed as a three-story building serving multiple functions: a main apartment, an apartment for children, and an architecture studio. The design aims to respect the surrounding built-up area whilst preserving the house's complex functionality. At the same time, the design is focused on energy preservation and use of solar power in particular.

Triathlon training centrum Landungsbrücken, Hamburg
(in collaboration with Marta Dolgowska)
2014
Hamburg traditionally hosts one of the most famous triatlon races in the world. Yet, despite that, the city lacks a sufficient training centre. That is why we were asked by Hamburg's main triatlon club to design a building that would reflect their specific requirements. The idea behing this project was to design a space that would motivate and inspire athletes as well as visitors. The result is a U-shaped building gradually rising towards the top. The building features a race track, a gym, indoors swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant, and rooms for accommodation.

Pavilion Moorweide, Hamburg
(in collaboration with Tereza Svachova and Ali Rasoulzadegan)
2014
The whole project was created with respect to principles of transparency that were part of the original assignment. The combination of light, glass, water, oil and shards of glass forms a unique atmosphere inside the pavilion. For further details, see the video below.
Hafen Kunst, Hamburg
(in collaboration with Tereza Svachova and Ali Rasoulzadegan)
2014
The Hafen Gallery is just another manifestation of the element of transparency used in the Pavilion Moorweide project. Furthermore, this project incorporates the change of tide of the Elbe river to affect the amount of light in the gallery. The project is designed both as a gallery and as accommodation for HafenCity's artists.

Green Core Building - Skyscraper Hamburg, Hamburg
in collaboration with Murad Abudiab, Vitali Bosch, Kai Schramme and Tobias Schiler
Since 1992, HafenCity has had an urbanistic concept, which aims to convert the previously industrial area into a new and modern space. Individual parts of land are assigned specific types of building. The empty space at the Strandkai peninsula was designated for a skyscrapper. The driving force behind this project was the attempt to solve the lack of greenery and the underlying inability to use anything resembling a common garden space. The project was authored by third year students of Architecture and second year students of Civil engineering.

Swimming Site Štvanice, Prague
The revitalisation of the Štvanice island has been a controversial topic for years. Our aim was to revive the spirit of sportsmanship and also solve problems with traffic. The original four-lane road was succesffuly lowered to the level of the terrain and hidden into a tunnel. We transformed the Negrelli viaduct into a cycling road and a walking trail. Our design of the swimming pool encloses the viaduct and invites a visitors inside. Swimming trails cross underneath the birdge and connect with the interior. The building can be entered both from the island and also directly from the viaduct.

Czech Cubism centre, Praha
2012
There are several cubist villas and apartment buildings right beneath Vyšehrad. The empty space in Libušina street was hence ideal for designing a centre of Czech cubism. The project gives emphasis on cubist elements both on the inside and on the outside of the building. The museum is lit from above through a skylight in the ceiling, and features a bar and office space.

Apartment house Koněvova street, Prague
2012
A parking lot in Konevova street in Prague-Žižkov residential area could conveniently house two blocks of apartment buildings. This project is one of the seventeen apartment buildings designed to fill this space. The buildings share an underground parking lot. The concept reflects the character of the surrounding built-up area and shifts a greater part of the building-mass into the yard in order to allow more light from the Northern side. The ground floor features commercial space, the first floor provides administrative space, and the rest of the building is reserved for apartments.
